$200 for males and females (price changed as of February 21, 2007)
Each baby comes with:
Lifetime Warranty against any genetic defects
Registration in the International Hedgehog Association Registry
Pedigree Chart
A starter bag of food
Membership to the NW Hedgehog Owners Yahoo! Group
* Please fill out the reservation form for approval to purchase a baby. After approval, all applicants must pay a $25 non-refundable deposit to be added to the waiting list.
* Applicants will be added to the wait list in the order the deposits are received. The $25 is applied to the total cost of the baby. We accept cashier's checks and money orders. Personal checks are not
accepted.
* Babies are typically weaned and ready to go to new homes when they are between 7 and 8 weeks old. Your deposit will hold a baby to weaning age. Babies must be paid in full by 8 weeks old to hold any longer than that. If full payment has not been received by HedgiePets by 8 weeks of age, the buyer loses all claim to the hedgehog, and all money paid toward the hedgehog is forfeited by the buyer. The hedgehog will then be available for sale to other buyers.
* If baby hedgehog is not picked up by the time he/she is 9 weeks old or adult hedgehog within one week of sale, buyer will pay boarding fees. Boarding fees are $10 for each week or partial week that hedgehog is still at
Hedgiepets.
* Once payments are received, they are nonrefundable so please do not ask us to reserve a hedgie for you unless you are certain that it is what you want.
* We do not ship hedgehogs.
Return Policies
If a buyer determines that the hedgehog is not the right pet for them, we will purchase the baby based on the following:
In all cases, we prefer owners contact us for re-homing help if they are unable to keep their hedgehog
Boarding
Hedgiepets has limited space, but can occasionally take
in a hedgehog or two for boarding. Boarding fees are $10 for
each week, or any part of a week, per hedgehog.
